November 21, 1980 is a date etched in the memories of most longtime Las Vegans. It’s the day a fire erupted at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino (now Bally’s Las Vegas), killing 85 people and injuring more than six hundred others. This tragedy remains the worst disaster in Nevada history, and the third worst hotel fire in U.S. history.
Just 90 days later, eight people died and more than 200 were injured in the Las Vegas Hilton fire.
Both needless tragedies could have been prevented had the proper fire and smoke protection systems been in place. That’s exactly what we do here at SAFE Electronics. Since 1984, SAFE Electronics has provided a full spectrum of services including consultation, design, site specific application, installation and maintenance to 5,000+ fire alarm and special hazard fire protection system projects in Nevada. We specialize in large multi-point system design/build projects, system upgrades and retrofits. We do not stop at the installation of these systems; we also provide “Value Added” service programs that our clients need to stay up and running.
Ultimately, we never forget that what we do matters — because lives are a stake.
